A young woman's adventures after being diagnosed with FAP.

Surgery went smoothly with no complications. The pain is no where as bad as the 1st surgery. But still this is all I can manage typing for tonight. I'll write more tomorrow.
Congratulations. I found that pain took on a different meaning after spiking a "10" twice during my lower abdominal resection recovery. Rest well, and be assured that there are MANY people that you don't know sending you energy and support.
My name is Steph. At the age of 29 I was diagnosed with Familial Adenomatous Polyposis (FAP). This blog is my journey through life with this disease.
I hope to use this blog to provide a way for friends and family to know what I am going through both mentally and physically. I also hope to provide a place for others w/ this disease to see that they are not alone.
