Poop Watch '08

My bowels have made very little progress.  Yesterday evening I started to have very small poops, were talking mouse turds here.  I hoped it was a sign things were moving.  But nope.  It was just a tease.  I put  a call into my surgeon,  he said to try some Milk of Magnesia and to call back in 6 hours with a detailed report.  Hopefully things are just backed up and this works.  Otherwise, I would have to come in.  It could mean there is something structurally wrong with the new plumbing.

I feel emotionally wore out, drained.  I'm tired of all this.  I want to be human again.  I want to feel whole and not broken.  I just want to get back to my life.

I'll update if there are any new developments in the toilet bowl.

Steph - Keep your chin up. You've come a long way. You've proven that you're far stronger than probably even you realized. Your recent issues are a set back, for sure, but there's nothing that you can't overcome... This too will "pass" (had to say it)!

STEPHIE, YOU HAVE BEEN THROUGH IT ALL. YOUR POOP IS STILL TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHERE TO GO . YOU ARE RIGHTFULLY TIRED OF BEING BRAVE AND STRONG. WE ARE ALL PUSHING FOR YOU. I HOPE YOU FEEL THE LOVE, MIMI

Stephanie, I cant say I know how you feel but I do know the feeling of "I can't take it anymore. I want things to be normal again". You can take it and you will! You want to give up but you can't! Keep fighting those feelings of wanting to throw in the towel. Friends and family keep telling you "you are strong" and you are, but you probably don't want to be strong anymore. I understand that. Take it one battle at a time and breath. Just breath! I feel your frustration. I am sorry you are going through this. I'm praying for you to have comfort and strength to keep stepping one foot in front of the other. YOU CAN DO THIS! Love Ya, Aunt Deb
